The graduation ceremony for the Excel our Girls Pioneer Class will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2021, at the Cedi Conference Centre at the University of Ghana Campus.
20 young female students will graduate after successfully completing a 10-week training programme in Microsoft Excel, Analytics and Python. The ‘Excel Our Girls’ programme was made possible through sponsorship by a group of forward-thinking individuals and companies. You can also invest in the future of our girls today and be part of the changing narrative.
The Excel Our Girls project is a hands-on training programme for talented undergraduate and graduate girls between ages 20 and 25.
The objective of the project is to train girls to build data-driven solutions using Microsoft Excel and other programming languages (Python, R, Power BI, Power Apps etc.). Each cohort will specialize in a special programming language and use this to build data-driven solutions. The programme seeks to bridge this skills gap by providing sponsored training for up to 1,000 girls every year in Data Analytics.
